Press release for St Barnabas CA Primary School’s ‘No More Dog Poo Scheme’.

Children at St Barnabas Primary School in Tunbridge Wells have been working with the Friends of Grosvenor and Hilbert Park to raise awareness of the dog poo problem and try to persuade people to bag and bin their dog’s droppings.

The school’s eco council ran a competition to design a poster persuading people to clear up their dog’s poo. Almost one hundred entries were received! These were whittled down to a final ten which were displayed at a dog show in the park on 20^th April. People attending could vote for their favourite one which would then be turned into a poster that will be displayed around the park.

The voting was very close but the lucky winner was Audrey from reception class. The runners up were Bella-Rose and Saira.
