In English and Communication this week, we are going to continue and complete the final chapters of our class quest. Next, we will turn our attention to writing recounts. First, we will explore what makes a great recount, then we will prepare to write a recount about our trip to Tonbridge Castle. 

In Phonics, we are learning about apostrophes of contraction. 

In Maths, we are continuing to learn about fractions. We will explore how to find whole amounts when we know a part. Next we will find amounts of unit and non-unit fractions. 

In Science, we will explore micro-habitats around the school and then turn our attention towards food chains and the interdependence of plants and animals with habitats. 

In Time and Place, we will be learning about places which are extremely hot and/or cold. We will then make comparisons with the place where we live.
