In our Phonics lessons we will be learning about words where ‘c’ makes an ‘s’ sound such as pencil and where ‘g’ makes a ‘j’ sound such as gem. We will also be reading the words ‘Monday’ and ‘Tuesday’ and writing the words ‘many’ and ‘laughed’.

This week in English, we will be starting to plan a new adventure for Traction Man and talking about where our story takes place.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about numbers up to 50, and we will be finding one more and one less than numbers up to 50. We will then move on and will start to learn about height and length.

In RE, we will be talking about The Last Supper and Jesus’ arrest.

Willow class will continue to have PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning, so please make sure that on these days your child has their PE kit in school and that earrings are removed where possible.
