In Phonics, we will be learning to read and write words containing the ‘a-e’ split digraph (such as game, snake and ate). We will also be reading the words ‘love’ and ‘your’ and writing the words ‘little’ and ‘one’.

In Maths, we will be learning about subtracting by taking away objects and by crossing out pictures. We will also be subtracting using a number line

In English, we will be starting to write instructions for making a jam sandwich.

In our RE lesson, we will be talking about who wrote the 4 Gospels in the Bible and how they retell the story of Jesus’ life.

In our Computing lesson, we will be using different shapes and colours to make a picture. In Art, we will be looking at The Snail by Henri Matisse and using this as inspiration for our own shape pictures.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Please make sure your child has their full PE kit in school on those days.
