This week in Phonics we will be learning about the ‘u-e’ and ‘e-e’ split digraph sounds. We will also be reading the words ‘called’ and ‘asked’ and writing the words ‘what’ and ‘oh’.

In Maths, we will continue to learn about addition. This week we will be investigating number bonds to 10, adding amounts together and adding more on.

In English, we will be starting some work on instruction writing. This week we will be talking about how to use time connectives (first, then, next, after that) and imperative verbs (put, stick, mix) to make our instruction clear.

Willow class will continue to have PE on Monday morning and Thursday morning this term. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on those days.

In our Computing lesson we will be talking about using computers responsibly and using the keyboard and mouse to create a picture and some text.

In RE, we will be starting a new topic about why Christmas matters to Christians. This week we will be starting to talk about the nativity story and some of the key events in it.
