Congratulations to Acorns for completing their first week and a bit! 

This week the children were working on settling into school and routines. Lots of children have also made new friends very quickly!

With our focus being on settling into school, we've had lots of time to play in the classroom, the outside area and the big playground. We practised sitting on the carpet with our legs crossed in our given spaces, lining up in a straight line and talked about the golden rules we have for the classroom, the outside area and the rest of the school. The children enjoyed having their lunch in the hall! We have also met our year six buddies who joined us for a few hours in the afternoon on Friday!
