The children are democratically selected by their peers and are presented with a badge to show that they are School Council members. They have their own notice board which shows current issues they are discussing.

Previous School Council decisions have included:

• Playground equipment
• Supported the Headteacher and Governors in the appointment of the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher
• Which charities to support and what to do to raise money
• Two members attend St Barnabas Church to lay a wreath to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict
