In our main phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘un’ suffix, such as unfair, unjust and uncaring. We will also be reading the words ‘talk’ and ‘two’ and writing the words ‘beautiful’ and ‘treasure’.

In Maths, we will be learning about position and direction, including the vocabulary above and below. We will also be learning about ordinal numbers and number bonds to 10.

This week in English we will be finishing our work on postcards. We will also be reading the story ‘I am the happiest’ by Anna Shuttlewood and completing some activities about words with the –er and –est suffixes.

In RE, we will be learning about the Hindu story of the Pearls and the Crow. In Art, we will be making sketches of some flowers. In Computing, we will be finishing our work on digital writing.

Willow class has PE on Monday morning and Thursday morning. Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
