In our Phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘ie’ digraph where it makes an ‘ee’ sound, such as ‘field’ and ‘shield’. We will also be reading the words ‘January’ and ‘February’ and writing the words ‘friend’ and ‘also’.

This week in English, the children will be writing some story openings and will be starting to plan a new adventure for Traction Man.

In Maths, we will continue to learn about numbers up to 50. This week we will be using number lines to position and order numbers. After that we will be finding one more and one less than numbers up to 50. We will also be starting to learn about height and length.

In RE, we will be talking about The Easter Story and sequencing the events of Holy Week. In Computing, we will be grouping data using set criteria.
