This week in Phonics we will be learning about words with the ‘ou’ digraph in them. We will also be learning to read the words ‘water’ and ‘where’ and to spell the words ‘should’, ‘would’ and ‘could’.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about addition and we will start learning about subtraction. This week we will be solving addition number problems and finding the missing parts of some part whole models.

In English, we will be writing instructions. This week we will be talking about how to use time connectives (first, then, next, after that) and imperative verbs (put, stick, mix) to make our instructions clear.

In our Computing lesson, the children will be using the computer mouse to create a picture. In Science, we will be talking about the weather and seasonal changes.

In RE, we will be talking about the Nativity story and discussing why Jesus’ birth is important to Christians.

Willow class has PE on Monday morning and Thursday morning this term. Please make sure your child has their full PE kit in school on those days.
