In Phonics, we will be learning to read and write words containing the ‘ea’ digraph (such as bead, seat and least). We will also be reading the words ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’ and writing the words ‘were’ and ‘there’.

This week in our English work we are going to focus on the book ‘Quest’ by Aaron Becker. This is a wordless book with detailed illustrations of a magical world that exists through a door.  This week we will be discussing some of the pictures from the start of the book and thinking of adjectives to describe the castle scene.

In Maths, we will continue to focus on the numbers 0 to 10. This week we will be comparing numbers and groups, putting numbers in the correct order and using a number line to solve some maths problems.

In RE, we will be thinking about what we have learnt so far this term and will be continuing to discuss how Christians put their beliefs about God into action. In Art, we will be drawing and painting self-portraits. In computing, we will be using a computer keyboard to type words and using the arrow keys to move the cursor.

Willow class have PE on Monday morning and Thursday morning. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on those days.
