In English and Communication this week we have been using our descriptive writing skills to write a description of the dragon from our quest. 

In Phonics we have been adding the -est and -y suffixes to words ending in e. 

In Maths we completed our learning on multiplication and division by focusing on selecting efficient methods of division. We then moved on to a new unit on measuring length and height. We will start by using cm and m to make accurate measurements. 

In Time and Place we have been focusing on the battle for the English crown in 1066. We are focusing on the four people who claimed the throne after the death of King Edward. We are analysing the pros and cons for each claimant before voting on our choice as king. 

We are also completing Mastering Number, Handwriting, PE and Design and the Arts activities.
